Just wanted to bake something in my oven… So contacted Pallavi from Cook Eat Burpp.. and she suggested the quick 30 minute brownie.. So prepared the same.. and it was lovely.. we ate it up all… 🙂 Also this is a special post as it completes my half century (50 posts done.. 🙂 )
Preparation Time:- 15 mins | Cooking Time:– 30 mins | Serves:- Around 9 brownies.. but served only 2.. 🙂
INGREDIENTS:
- 1/2 cup butter (unsalted & metled)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tea spoon Vanilla essence
- 1/3 cup Cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup All purpose flour (Maida)
- 1/4 tea spoon Salt
- 1/4 tea spoon Baking powder
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup chopped chocolate (I used Dark chocolate)
- 3 Table spoon Milk
PREPARATION:
Take a big mixing bowl, and beat butter and sugar till its light and fluffy.
Sift the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
To the butter and sugar, add sifted flour and beaten egg alternatively and beat.
Whisk in the vanilla essence, milk and walnuts.
Pour the batter in a butter paper lined tin and scatter the chopped chocolate o top.
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees C for 25-30 min.
Insert a skewer in the center to check. If a few crumbs stick to it, pull the tin out and let it cook in the residue heat.
Once cooled, cut in squares and serve.
SERVING:
- Serve hot with hot chocolate sauce or cool vanilla scoop.
Tasty Cooking..!!
